I earned my first inspection certificate in 2005 and have been performing Structural Special Inspections and Testing in Hawaii since 2006.
I consider myself fortunate to have been able to participate in a meaningful way on a wide range of projects including Federal, State and County Projects, and those that required security clearances.
Projects that I have been responsible for inspecting and coordinating testing for, have ranged from commercial shopping centers and condominium resort complexes, to the renovation of Historic Military Buildings and Family Housing at Joint Base Pearl Harbor – Hickam AFB, Hawaii.
Military and civilian projects included new housing as well as historic buildings, high security military command structures and barracks, and civil work like drainage, retaining walls, bridges and paving, and a three story parking structure utilizing deep grout piles and precast concrete double t slabs at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe.
Kauai has been our home for over eleven years, and it’s been a pleasure providing inspection services for some really great people and companies on a diverse field of projects.
After working for other companies for years, my wife Trish and I decided that it was time to launch our own Blue Yonder LLC special inspection service to provide the builders of Kauai with the help they need and deserve.
